Overview

LuaBREW is a port of Lua 5.1.2 for Qualcomm's BREW platform.

It bundles with complete sources and documentation for:

  • ILua - a port of Lua 5.1.2 compiler and virtual machine
  • ILuaLibBREW - a library for frequently used BREW API functions
  • ILuaLibHelper - a header that helps in creating LuaBREW libraries
  • StaticDemo - LuaBREW statically linked into your applet
  • DynamicDemo - LuaBREW dynamically linked into your applet
  • TestTool - a test suite for LuaBREW

  • 20 Aug 2007 - Version 1.0.3 - Improved TestTool and fixed minor bugs.
  • 30 Jul 2007 - Version 1.0.1 - First public release.

Credits

LuaBREW was designed and implemented by Leonardo Maciel as a platform for experimenting with the OiL middleware in resource-limited devices. It's based on previous (non-published) work by Reinaldo Mello and Luiz Nogara, as a tool for game development on mobile devices.
